Effective: March 31, 2026
imgstamp does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything happens entirely on your device.
imgstamp collects no data whatsoever. No photos, metadata, personal information, or usage data ever leaves your device. There are no servers, no accounts, and no tracking of any kind.
On first launch, imgstamp takes a single silent photo to read your device's camera signature. This photo is used only to extract a generic model identifier and is immediately discarded — it is never saved or transmitted.
imgstamp reads image metadata (such as camera model and capture date) to verify that a photo was taken on your device. Photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. Watermarked photos are saved directly to your library on-device.
Authenticated photos contain a QR code with a cryptographic signature. Scanning this QR code opens a verification page that checks the signature entirely in the browser — no data is sent to any server.
imgstamp does not use any analytics services or tracking tools.
imgstamp does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data.
imgstamp does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require any personal information to function.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
